Frequently Asked Questions - General

Q.Do I need broadband (DSL/Cable) to access this site?
Ans.Yes, a high-speed connection is recommeded due to the filesizes of the videos involved. You can download some of the shorter works (under 20MB) via modem, but longer titles are often over 200MB, and a faster connection is required.

Q.Do these videos include any Digital Rights Management (DRM) restrictions or limitations?
Ans.No! Unlike files available from our competitors, these video files are completely DRM-FREE! They can be freely and easily copied from your computer to any other playback unit, including portable players, other computers, CD-Rs or DVD-Rs owned by the original purchaser. We do require that you do not share these files via filesharing networks, or with other potential customers.

Q.Is this legal? Is it safe?
Ans.Yes, the files available here have either graduated into the public domain or are licensed directly from their producers. Unlike some of our competition, we do not require you to install any proprietary application software to download these files. They are all guaranteed to be virus-free, so this is a much safer venue for acquiring them than via filesharing networks or warez websites.

Q.What are your membership plans?
Ans.We now offer our FREE*PASS annual subscription for just $47, which provides one year of access to all of our media files. For individual movies, our blockbuster premier pricing is just $1.99 per title, matching the cost of music videos and TV shows from Apple's iTunes Music store. Note that our catalog includes feature-length movies of over 3 hours in length, providing a great value to you, the customer!! We reserve the right to modify prices at a later time (for instance, when Apple moves to graduated pricing), but for an introductory period we have settled on flat $1.99 pricing, so get it while it's hot! Several of our shorter works are available FREE in our online store.

Q.What payment methods do you accept?
Ans.We accept PayPal, and they offer processing for MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

Q.Will I be able to play these files on my computer?
Ans.Yes, these video files will play great on any modern personal computer (Windows XP or Mac OS X) with QuickTime 7.0.3 or higher installed. QuickTime is FREE software available from Apple, and is included with iTunes 6.
